ANNEX XIV: SUBSTANCES SUBJECT TO AUTHORISATION

Amends Annex XIV of the REACH regulation by adding 5 substances among those subject to authorization. There are now 59 substances subject to authorization.
Entry into force: 28 April 2022

Variations reported in entry Nr. 4, 5, 6, 7, respectively for DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP substances.

ANNEX XVII: RESTRICTIONS ON MARKET AND USE

Changes related to CMR substances contained in Appendices 2, 4 and 6 of Annex XVII.
Entry into force: 1 March 2022 for some substances and 17 December 2022 for others.
Applicability: from 2 January 2022

Insertion of the new item 76 in Annex XVII of REACh, which establishes a restriction for substance N, N-dimethylformamide
Entry into force: 12 December 2021
Applicability: from 12 December 2023, except for some specific uses for which longer-term deadlines have been established.

Addition of item 74 of Annex XVII, concerning the di-isocyanate family.
Entry into force: 24 August 2020.
Applicability: from 24 February 2022

Entry of item 73 of Annex XVII, regarding (3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8,8,8,8-tridecafluoroottil) silanetriolo and TDFA.
Entry into force: 2 July 2019.
Applicability: from 2 January 2021

Entry item 72 of Annex XVII, concerning certain substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction (CMR), category 1A or 1B
Entry into force: 2 November 2018.
Applicability: from 1 November 2020, but the maximum formaldehyde content present in jackets, jackets or padding material, the relevant concentration will be gradually reduced, with an intermediate deadline on 1 November 2023.

Changes made on item 51 of Annex XVII concerning phthalates.
Applicable from 6 January 2019.
Dibutyl phthalate shall not be placed on the market after 7 July 2020 in toys or childcare articles
